Display at 6 Empire Rose Court, Morphettville, South Australia, 5043

Come and check out the Channel 9 christmas lights display winner from last year at 6 Empire Rose Court, Morphettville. The Mawby display for 2020 is looking great once again this year. We're on every night of the week until after New Years. We've got over 20,000 lights from the front yard to the top of the roof, inflatables, Xmas music playing all the old school classics, moving Santa on the roof going up and down in the chimney and a yard absolutely chockablock full of various lights on every bush and paythway. Our new colour chamging neon strip lights are new this year as well as more ground lights and more lights on the house. Due to covid, we have a few changes this year which means no donation box, and no christmas lights on the verge. Due to restrictions we recommend social distancing out the front if getting out of your car. We ask that you please respect our neighbours and do not park across driveways or on yellow lines where no parking is allowed and help us keep the neighbourhood happy. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Saw this on Channel 7 news where it seems the neighbours were very upset by the display. So decided we should see what all the fuss was about. Lots of lights but I got a parking fine because there is no stopping in the street. Seems after this news story the council has been held to account. I would be cautious of attending. Have a good Xmas everyone.

Took the kids for a drive Friday night. No parking here so can’t stop so only there for 10 seconds. Wasn’t very impressive like others we saw. Left me wondering why no other Christmas lights we had seen had parking restrictions imposed in a street. Very strange. There are much better displays in the outer Adelaide suburbs with their bigger house blocks. This one is tiny.
