This cherished tradition was selflessly created by Dainere in 2012 while she bravely faced her own illness, knowing her time was limited. Her luminous legacy continues to inspire our community each year, bringing hope, joy, and the magic of Christmas to all who visit. For the best experience of the display and stalls, we recommend parking your car, with plentiful free parking conveniently located just across the road. Our festive Stalls will be open on Saturday 6 and 13 December and nightly from 19 December to Christmas Eve inclusive, inviting families, friends, and visitors to come together beneath the magical brilliance of the season. Discover treasures at the stalls, where you can buy handmade, unique, and lovingly used or brand new gifts, and be among the first to bring home the Anthony Christmas Bear Book, celebrated as Canberra’s best Christmas book. Each year the display is lovingly reimagined, offering something new and exciting for visitors. This year you will encounter a delightful Christmas train, Star Wars characters, and many sparkling lights and festive blow-ups designed to enchant children and adults alike. We encourage you to take photographs especially with our Santa and of the display to capture memories that will linger long after the lights have dimmed. When you visit, you can scan the QR code to donate, receive a tax-deductible receipt, and give the most precious gift imaginable—hope—to a child with brain cancer. 100% of all funds raised or donated go directly to supporting life-changing research that brings new hope to children facing the unimaginable and incomprehensible diagnosis. Step into a realm of light, love, and possibility, and be the spark that transforms a child’s world this Christmas. We would be ever so humbled and grateful to welcome you to this meaningful display.
